Generous support from members drove a record-breaking total of $37,970 for the HBAV Education Foundation – and significantly exceeded our $30,000 goal. The campaign generated gifts from 46 donors.

The campaign kicked off with a pair of $5,000 matching gifts from Justin Boyle and Doug Bennett. A third $5,000 matching gift announced by HBAV Insurance later in the day fueled a final rush of donations.

Top fundraisers from the Education Foundation Board of Trustees were Brad Bryant and Justin Boyle.

Thank you to the donors, fundraisers and other supporters who helped to make this a successful campaign. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Workforce development remains a top priority for everyone in the home building industry, and the Foundation provides avenues for members to help “grow their own.”

Every dollar raised from Giving Tuesday will go toward preparing the next generation of skills trades workers and continued education to advanced current workers, through grants and scholarships. Since 2018, the Foundation has awarded more than $110,000 in grants. Receiving programs introduce youths to the construction industry, support on-the-job-training and more.
